Message from the Jubilee Committee (10/6/2011)

We have confirmed Monday 2 January 2012 as the day for the jubilee. This is a good day because it falls just after Family Camp, meaning you could come to that as well and stay on for the jubilee without having to return home. Since both the 2nd and 3rd of January are public holidays, you will have a day to travel home before having to start work on Wednesday. To make sure the jubilee is well planned we have a committee of people to oversee the event, chaired by Tim Robertson Jnr. We are planning a full day of speeches, memories, events and culminating with a sit down evening meal. You will be able to opt for participation in parts of the day. As part of the planning we are now collecting historical information about the camp and any items that might be of interest. Please let us know if you have any old photos or letters as we would like to get copies of these from you. We do hope this Jubilee will be “must do” on your calendar, so please help us spread the word by forwarding this link to people who you know might like to come. We would like people to register their interest so that we can keep everyone informed so please remember to send me an email if you have not done so already.
